II. Course Works & Program Requirement

 

The Master Program

    The Master’s program of our department is divided into two fields: Educational Psychology, and Counseling, which recruit and admit students separately. The curriculum of each field consists of compulsory courses and electives. Students will be endowed a Master degree in Education after the completion of course work, thesis and its oral defense.

The Doctoral Program

    The doctoral program of our department is divided into three fields: Educational Psychology, Test Technology, and Counseling, which also recruit and admit students separately. Similar to the curriculum of master program, the doctoral program consists of both compulsory and elective course. Students will be endowed a doctoral degree in Educational Philosophy after the completion of course work, thesis and its oral defense.

III. Details about the Course Works

We may have 1~2 courses instructed in English in each semester, but most of our courses are instructed in Chinese. Therefore in order to meet the requirements of listening comprehension in class, we highly recommend students to have Chinese language proficiency higher than designated level (TOCFL Level 4).
