Degree

 The Undergraduate Program

    The university’s undergraduate curriculum can be subdivided into four groups: common subjects, subjects of general education, compulsory courses and electives of the department. The common subjects are compulsory to all departments of the university, and every student must take subjects from the general education, which is the common criterion for all departments of the university. There are departmental courses and electives in our department. Our students must take  all the compulsory courses. The departmental electives are optional to students of our department. It usually takes 4 to 6 years with 128 credits are needed to be endowed a Bachelor degree in Education.

    If the undergraduate student plans to be in the career of  teaching after graduation, he or she should take a total of 26 educational credits.

 

The Master Program

    The Master’s program of our department is divided into two fields: Educational Psychology, and Counseling, which recruit and admit students separately. The curriculum of each field consists of compulsory courses and electives. Students will be endowed a Master degree in Education after the completion of course work, thesis and its oral defense.

 

The Doctoral Program

    The doctoral program of our department is divided into two fields: Educational Psychology, and Counseling, which also recruit and admit students separately. Similar to the curriculum of master program, the doctoral program consists of both compulsory and elective course. Students will be endowed a doctoral degree in Educational Philosophy after the completion of course work, thesis and its oral defense.
