1. Application, Education Program, and Location
(1) Students accepted and enrolled in a master’s degree program from either department are eligible to apply for this program. There is no restriction on the number of students admitted. EPC shall assist in identifying and recommending qualified EPC students to matriculate into the Master’s Dual Degree Program based upon an average score of at least 3.5 GPA from NTNU, a required score of 80 TOEFL (Internet-based), IELTS 6.5 or Duolingo 105; an oral interview by ESCP faculty and two letters of recommendation from EPC faculty. ESCP will assist in identifying and recommending qualified ESCP students to matriculate into the Master’s Dual Degree Program based upon a 3.5 GPA from MU, an application for the Master’s Dual Degree program (including their personal statement and plan of study), and three letters of recommendation from ESCP faculty. All students must then follow the regular application procedures at the host institution. (2) The education period at the host university shall be a minimum of two semesters. (3) Graduates shall have completed at least half of the required credits at the home master’s degree program, and meet the graduation credit requirements of both departments. The menu of courses that will fulfill degree requirements will be listed on separate documents. (4) For EPC students, the classes shall be conducted at the MU and its environs. For ESCP students, the classes shall be conducted at the NTNU and its environs. Periods of study at the two universities do not have to be continuous. The final term can be completed at home university. Graduates are to receive dual degrees, one from each university.
2. Educational Support and Others
(1) ESCP and EPC students will be responsible for the full cost of their education (i.e. application fees, tuition, and student fees) as well as all living costs. In addition, while EPC students are at MU, EPC students must pay MU non-resident educational tuition and NTNU computer and Student Insurance fees (to NTNU). And while ESPC students are at NTNU, ESPC students must pay the international educational tuition. (2) For enrollment, grade evaluations, scholarships, student services, student code of conduct, advising, and similar related matters, the applicable regulations for each university shall be followed. For other matters, regulations from both universities will be followed. (3) EPC may request MU’s ESCP, and vice versa, to provide detailed information regarding the education program for the qualified EPC students.
