Big Data and Digital Assessment Program1. Brief introduction
To cultivate professional personnel in big data and digital assessment, the Big Data and Digital Assessment Credit Program is currently being planned jointly by this department, the Graduate Institute of Science Education, the Graduate Institute of Information and Computer Science, and the Science Education Center. The purpose of the program is to improve postgraduate students’ abilities in computer applications, inferential and logical thinking, and awareness of the relations between education policies and education efficacy. The program aims to improve students’ professional knowledge of quantitative analysis, big data, and digital assessment and cultivate their abilities in research design and data analysis in big data, design and development of digital assessment, and statistical analysis.
2. Education goal
The education goal of this credit program is to cultivate professionals in big data and digital assessment. The purpose is to improve postgraduate students’ ability to utilize digital information for data analysis of large surveys. The program’s policies and teaching efficacy are evaluated according to these abilities in students. Moreover, students’ logical reasoning and data awareness abilities are cultivated
